On October 4, 2018, following a short illness, Carol Ann nee Davies, passed. She was 83.
Born and raised in "Pigtown," South Baltimore, she was the daughter of William and Edna nee Schillenberg. She is a graduate of Southern High School where she maintained many of her friendships of her youth to this day.
Carol worked at the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration for 35 years, administering vision testing to thousands.She was a bowler in a Duckpin League and maintained a 100 average until her recent sickness. Carol enjoyed cooking especially form the "bounty of the Bay," and indulged in oysters, crabs and fish regularly. One of her favorite past times was hanging out with the "Golden Girls," her high school friends. Together they shared a love for card games, going to the beach and good comradeship. Carol is know to be a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.
Carol is preceded by her husband of 59 years, John H. Holsey. Surviving her are her sons, Keith and his wife Debbie and Greg and his fiance' Elizabeth Arias. She leaves grandchildren, Nathan, Brian, Kelly and Will Holsey as well as a neice Donna Cain and two nephews Bruce and Richard McKeldin.
Precedeing her are her siblings June and Catherine.
She will be sorely missed...
